Matty in a Mess! by Miriam Moss
Matty is a very orderly bear who lives with his not-so-orderly sister, Milly. But one day, when a strong wind turns everything upside down, Matty lands up in a bit of a mess, and finds, to his surprise, that he really rather likes it!
"Simmons' painterly illustrations strengthen the story with their bright, vibrant colours for the characters in contrast to more muted shades for the background" * Books for Keeps *
"This is a gentle story for children that promotes a sense of caring, cooperation and appreciation for others. With its lovely bright illustrations it's an ideal book for reading aloud and sharing with others." * School Librarian *
"Attractively illustrated by Jane Simmons, it packs a lot in before ending with both bears dancing around in a beautiful double-page spread." * Independent *

She now lives in East Sussex with her husband, children, cats and a dog.
