Medicine Dream by Merilyn Tunneshende

Anyone who enjoys the work of Carlos Castaneda will appreciate Merilyn Tunneshende’s book. Merilyn’s Tunneshende has spent many years studying with the Castaneda’s teacher Don Juan who she calls John Black Crow and with Castaneda himself in Mexico. He prepared her for the extraordinary experiences and training that happened to her in Mexico amongst the descendent of the Mayan. Later in 1992 she became ill with AIDS. In a series of dreams about the ancient Mayan she realised that she needed to return to Mexico to seek her own healing. The knowledge she gained on this journey is important for all of us in these times.

Merilyn Tunneshende has a Masters Degree in Spanish and Religion/Philosophy. She has spent many years studying in Mexico. In 1992 Ms Tunneshende was awarded a research grant from the National Endowment for Humanities to study Mayan Culture in Mexico
