Meniere Man Let's Get Better by Meniere Man
FROM MENIERE SUFFERER TO MENIERE SURVIVOR.
Read a truly remarkable and successful recovery story from Meniere's disease. * A positive book about getting over Meniere's without having invasive procedures or surgery of any kind. * 248 pages that could ultimately help you get over Meniere's symptoms and reclaim a normal life with no more vertigo attacks, just as this author went on to do.
I have received a copy of the book Let's get better - A memoir of Meniere's disease. I would like to thank the sender and congratulate the author. It is an excellent book which I have already recommended to some of my patients. - Dr Celene McNeill. *
The author fell unwell in the height of his commercial career. He was diagnosed with Meniere's disease, but the full effects of the disease would take time to manifest. Not only was he going to lose his health, but he was also going to lose his job. He began to lose faith in his ability to totally reclaim his sense of well-being. But it was his personal spirit and desire to return to normalcy that kept him from giving up on a life of terrible vertigo, dizziness, and nausea caused by Meniere's disease.
He came to the conclusion that there are no limits in life. Rather than allowing Meniere's disease to control his life, he began to focus on how to overcome Meniere's disease symptoms without resorting to surgery or drug dependency. Meniere Man believes that if you want to see a significant change in your health, you should start now, not later. Even if you don't feel like it, you must start improving your health right now.
The more you accomplish, the more you will be able to accomplish. The Author's life has changed recently. He was able to fully recover. He isn't on any medications.
Snowboarding, surfing, hiking, windsurfing, and weight training are all athletic sports he enjoys these days that require a high level of balance and stability. He continues to avoid sodium, stress, take vitamins, exercise regularly, and have a positive, thoughtful mindset, as he has advised. The Author writes himself as Meniere Man, with a smile and a sense of humour, because, as he explains, Meniere's disease was the one thing that transformed his life profoundly. The author is a poet and a painter.
He is married to a poet who also writes essays. They are the parents of two grown children. He enjoys the sea, cooking, travel, and spending time with his family and friends, as well as his pet dog Bella.
