Julie Garwood was born and raised in Kansas (Missouri), as part of a large Irish-American family (six brothers and sisters). Julie Garwood's literary career began when the last of her three children entered primary school. Since then, I've been able to devote myself to my passion for literature, writing a number of novels that have gone on to become true best sellers. With a unique sensibility for portraying strong and passionate characters, her work ranks among the genre's most essential authors, describing human relationships with unparalleled mastery. She currently resides in Leawood, Kansas, with her husband and children, and continues her fertile creative work.
