Metal Craft by Mary Maguire
Metal foil and wire are endlessly versatile materials that can be embossed, pierced, bent, shaped, twisted and plaited. In a range of tones, from gleaming copper to muted gray, and in different thicknesses, their potential for crafting is huge.
Mary Maguire originally studied Fine Art and Textiles at Goldsmiths College, London, and since then she has continued to develop and exhibit her own work. She is the author of five other craft titles including Wirework, published in 1996. Mary lives near Buckfastleigh, in Devon.
