Christopher Kirwan has taught at the University of Oxford since 1959, and has served as Vice-Chairman of the General Board of the University from 1980-2. He edited by journal Analysis from 1976-87 and edited and contributed to Notes on Book Z of Aristotle's Metaphysics (Oxford, 1979). He was a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University from 1957-8.
