David Gero has been interested in air disasters for many years and has gathered information on more than 5,000 incidents of all kinds. He is a television director as well as author of Aviation Disasters (Sutton, 2006), Flights of Terror (PSL, 1997), and the original edition of Military Aviation Disasters (PSL, 1999).
