MIR by Alexander Besher
The year is 2036: the art of epidermal programming means sentient tattoos can travel on-line, perform tasks for their owners in Omnispace and be transferred from body to body in forbidden techno-pagan love rituals. But a bio-software bug, code-named Mir, is about to wreak havoc on the entire Net.
Alexander Besher was born in China to White Russian parents and raised in Japan. Based in San Francisco, he has worked as editor in chief of the Chicago Review, and contributing editor for Infoworld magazine, as well as consulting futurist in corporate scenario planning.
