
Luis Leante is a professor of classics at the University of Murcia in Spain. He has written plays, poetry, essays, film scripts and over a dozen novels, winning numerous literary awards. Mira Si Yo Te Querre (See How Much I Love You) was inspired by a 2005 humanitarian trip to the Western Sahara. In 2007 it won the Alfaguara prize Born in Argentina in 1983, educated bilingually at school, and later completed a degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Buenos Aires. After a spell as a researcher for its English Department, he turned to literary journalism and started contributing essays, reviews and interviews to Argentine broadsheets, mostly on Spanish, French and Anglo-American literature.
