MARY HOFFMAN is a highly acclaimed journalist and writer who has campaigned against sexism and racism in children's literature since 1971. JACKIE MORRIS grew up in the Cotswolds and studied illustration at Bath Academy. She has worked in magazine publishing and designed greetings cards for Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Oxfam. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and throughout Australia.
