More Gold in Your Piano Bench by Marion Short

An exciting new book from Marion Short about collectible sheet music, this second volume includes lots of new categories. Learn about the music that provided background to America's communication, transportation, wars, and news events. Marion's entertaining and incisive writing style is accompanied by more than 500 color photographs of historical sheet music, each captioned and priced. Not just an attractive coffee table book, this compilation is a record of America's history and growth as told by tunes. Her first book, The Gold in Your Piano Bench, has received wide acclaim.
Short, Marion: - Mrs. Short's broad background in the music field includes singing on radio and television, extensive studies in music theory and composition, choral arranging for the Valley Harmonettes, awards in composition from both Pierce College and the University of Oregon, and four books on various collecting categories of popular sheet music. She also found time to raise four children. Now living in semi-retirement with her husband, retired Commander Roy Short, she remains an active member of the National Sheet Music Society while sharing her discoveries in the world of popular music.
