* Irish Voice *GERARD HANBERRY, a prizewinning poet, lives in Galway, Ireland. He has published three collections of poetry and his work has been widely published in literary journals and newspapers. He won the Brendan Kennelly/Sunday Tribune Poetry Prize and the Originals Short Story Prize at Listowel Writers' Festival and has been shortlisted for numerous prizes including a Hennessy Award. He holds an MA in Writing from NUI Galway where he delivers courses on creative writing and poetry. He also teaches English at St Enda's College, Salthill.
