Steve Seabury has a long background in the music industry, having performed, worked at numerous record and marketing organizations, interviewed famous acts, and hosted events, the most recent of which being the Hard Rock Cafe's ZZ Top anniversary DVD release. He began his career at Mayhem Records, where he assisted in the success of bands like Cradle of Filth and Nothingface. Steve was the National Sales Director and A&R at Spitfire Records/Eagle Rock Entertainment, where he worked with rock giants Testament, Zakk Wylde, Ronnie James Dio, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, and new developing bands like Dog Fashion Disco and Sixty Watt Shaman. Steve managed and launched multiple marketing initiatives for platinum artists such as Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, Damageplan, Judas Priest, and others while at Concrete Marketing. He's taken his knowledge and just launched two new businesses: Barley & Hops Management and Giddy Up! Records.

His new metal band, Moth Eater, can also be seen thrashing like a maniac. Steve and his wife Lisa live in Queens, the home of the New York Mets. This is his debut novel.
