Richard Herman is a former combat pilot who has flown over 200 missions himself. He retired from the US Air Force in 1983 with the rank of Major after serving for 21 years. He is the author of seven other technothrillers and is currently working on his ninth book, EDGE OF HONOUR. He now lives in Fair Oaks, California.
