Les morbidit s post-traitement ont donc suscit un int r t particulier dans la communaut scientifique. Le syndrome du r seau axillaire survient apr s une l sion des vaisseaux lymphatiques de l'aisselle et comporte plusieurs composantes. Entre 12/2011 et 07/2012, 97 patientes trait es chirurgicalement pour un cancer du sein ont t recrut es, interrog es et ont subi un examen physique cibl l'h pital du cancer de Pernambuco, au Br sil. La pr sence de cordons caract ristiques a t diagnostiqu e chez 28,86 % des femmes; sur les 16 femmes ayant remarqu des cordons dans l'aisselle, 13 ont ressenti une douleur la palpation des cordons et 96,43 % ont pr sent une r duction significative de l'amplitude des mouvements en abduction passive. La conclusion est que le SRAS ne peut se pr senter que sous la forme de cordons fibreux, qui ne sont pas n cessairement douloureux, mais qui sont li s des restrictions significatives du mouvement de l'articulation de l' paule ipsilat rale. Il est donc sugg r de graduer les manifestations cliniques du syndrome.
