Leah Mercer was born on the east coast of Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her original dream was to be a journalist, but after earning a master's degree in journalism, she quickly realized she didn't want to be a journalist. She finally settled in London and returned to writing after trying her hand at public relations, teaching, and recruitment in several cities across the world... This is a work of fiction. Her first two novels, Who We Were Before and The Man I Thought You Were, were both nominated for Romantic Novelists' Association Awards in the United Kingdom. Leah enjoys reading, exercising, and touring old homes with her husband and children.
