In nearly twenty countries, Xinran has given lectures and talks on writing, Chinese women, and history.
She founded The Mothers' Bridge of Love charity in 2004 with the goal of building a bridge of understanding between China and the West. Xinran is based in London, but she travels to China on a regular basis.
