Manjula Padma, whose full name is Manjula Padmanabhan, was born in Delhi in 1953. She is a writer and artist who has written many adult books and two for children, which she also illustrated. She is the creator of `Suki’, a daily comic strip, for the Pioneer newspaper in New Delhi.
