Mr Monk Helps Himself by Hy Conrad

Popular TV character Monk returns in this latest TV tie-in mystery book. Natalie is taking a break from studying for her PI license, the last step to becoming Monk's full partner. She sneaks off to Half Moon Bay for a retreat run by Miranda Bigley, leader of the Best Possible Me self-help program, but her plans for a relaxing weekend are disrupted when Monk tracks her down to rescue her from the 'cult.' Their argument is cut short when Miranda, in full view of everyone, calmly walks to the edge of a cliff and jumps.

Hy Conrad has created a name for himself as a light mystery author, winning a Scribe Award and being nominated for three Edgar Awards. Along the way, he created a slew of successful games and interactive films, as well as hundreds of short tales and a dozen solvable mystery books that have been published in over a dozen languages. In the world of television, he is most known for writing and co-executive producing the groundbreaking series Monk for eight seasons. Hy has recently switched to writing novels, finishing the last four books in the successful Monk series and launching a new series, Amy's Travel Mysteries, with Kensington Publishing. With his partner and two miniature schnauzers, he lives in Key West, Florida.
