Janet Browne is Aramont Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University. Her book, 'Charles Darwin: The Power of Place', was awarded the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Pfizer Prize, and the Royal Society of Literature Prize. She lives in Boston, MA.
