Mucky Pup by Ken Brown
Mucky pup is trying to find somebody on the farm to play with, but none of the animals seem to want to have anything to do with him. The cockerel is too beautiful, the ducks are too fluffy and the cat is too handsome. Even the magnificent shire-horse doesn't want to get dirty. But then mucky pup finds somebody else just like him. This charming story of an endearing little dog's search for a playmate will relate to children everywhere who love to get mucky. Beautifully illustrated with Ken Brown's adorable animals, this book makes the perfect title for reading together.
