Carlene O'Connor is descended from a long line of storytellers in Ireland. Her great-grandmother came to America from Ireland full of stories, and the stories have continued to flow ever since. She fell in love with a walled town in County Limerick and was inspired to construct Kilbane, County Cork, from all the locations she's traveled across the pond.
