For adults she has published 'Two Stories' and a novel 'Zeno was Here'. She has also written for radio and television, and she frequently visits schools and colleges to speak about writing. Since childhood she has read and collected nineteenth- and early twentieth-century children's fiction. She lives in Oxford.
