Music of the Peoples of the World by William Alves
Daily strength and comfort written by men for men In this best-selling daily devotional, the contributors include businessmen, writers, physicians, pastors, professors, and counselors. Some were retired, some were middle-aged, and some were only beginning their careers when they penned these words. Despite their differences, editor Don Aycock rightly notes, We are exactly like everyone else with the issues we face daily. Their common goal here is to become God's man for their families, colleagues, and communities--and to help readers do the same. Contributors discuss a Scripture passage for each day of the year and how that passage addresses common concerns for Christian men--concerns such as relationships, finances, temptations, time, community, emotions, and spiritual growth. Whether married or single, employed or unemployed, a leader in the church or a new believer, readers will be blessed by the daily challenges and prayers. In its twenty-year history, God's Man has encouraged thousands of men around the world. Its timeless lessons will continue to minister to another generation. An easy-to-read devotional that inspires and encourages men to become godly husbands, fathers, and men of integrity on a daily basis. Don shows in God's Man the relevance of God's Word for men today.--Dr. Jim Guth, former executive director of Florida Men of Integrity
