Georgie Ripper won the Macmillan Prize for Picture Book Illustration in 2000 with My Best Friend, Bob and Little Brown Bushrat. Her first picture book for Macmillan, Little Brown Bushrat (0 333 96082 3), published in 2002 and tells the tale of a scrawny little bushrat who saves the rest of his friends with his heroic behaviour. This is her second picture book for Macmillan.
