My First Day at Nursery by Becky Edwards
A little girl is very worried - it is her first day at nursery. She does not want to leave her mum. But soon the excitement of school begins to enchant the child as she starts to play with the other children, prepare pretend meals in the little play-house and cut and stick with glittery glue. At the end of the day our little girl is feeling slightly different about her first day at nursery.
Becky Edwards lives in Chichester with her family. This is her third picture book for Bloomsbury. Becky's previous book MY BROTHER SAMMY won the Best Children's Picture Book of 1999 awarded by the English Association. Anthony Flintoft lives in Leeds where he works full time illustrating children's books.
