Emily Gale has worked in the book industry for twenty-five years, starting in London and now living in Melbourne. Her work includes the junior fiction duology Eliza Boom, middle-grade novels The Other Side of Summer, Elsewhere Girls (co-written with Nova Weetman) and The Goodbye Year, and the Young Adult novels Girl, Aloud, Steal My Sunshine, and I Am Out With Lanterns.
