My Perfect Life by Lynda Barry
The concept of wildlife criminology reaches new boundaries in this illuminating new study of exploitation of animals and its social implications. Combining criminological, philosophical and legal perspectives, the authors shed light on both legal and illegal harms including blood sports, wildlife as food and abuse in zoos, considering the rights of animals as sentient beings. It is a unique treatment of wildlife as victims of crime.
