Nathan Rabin is a staff writer for The Dissolve, the popular music website Pitchfork's new film website. He was previously the A.V. Club's chief writer. Club, The Onion's entertainment guide, a post he has held since 1997, while he was a college student at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Rabin is also the author of The Big Rewind, a memoir, and My Year of Flops, an essay collection based on one of his columns. He most recently collaborated on a coffee table book with pop parodist weird Al Yankovic, titled Weird Al: The Book.

The Wall Street Journal, Spin, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe, Nerve, and Modern Humorist have all published Rabin's work. He and his wife live in Chicago.
