
Nag Club by Fine Anne
Boggle hats are the latest thing. Everybody at school wants one - but only Lola actually has one. So she decides to form a club to show the other children how best to nag their parents into buying them one. However, the children get mixed results.
Anne Fine was the 2002 Children's Laureate and was recently awarded an OBE. She has written numerous books for children and young adults. These include Care of Henry; The Haunting of Pip Parker; Goggle-eyes (Winner of the Carnegie Medal and the Guardian Children's Fiction Award and dramatised on BBC TV); Bill's New Frock (Winner of the Smarties Book Prize); Flour Babies (Winner of the Carnegie Medal and the Whitbread Children's Novel Award); How to Cross the Road and Not Turn Into a Pizza; and Madame Doubtfire, which was turned into a hugely successful Hollywood film. She has twice been voted Children's Author of the Year. Anne lives in County Durham.
