Naked Human by Christopher Poindexter
The second edition of Christopher Poindexter's first book, Naked Human, is an exploration of humanity at its finest and at its worst. This is a story written between 2011-2015 about the discovery of what makes us human: doing whatever it takes to keep the loneliness away.
Christopher Poindexter is a bohemian poet who began composing poetry at the age of 18 while on a rebellious vacation to California. He prefers to be an observer, attempting to make sense of the human situation in all of its roughness and glory. Though we all have our dances with demons, our hearts tormented by grief, by dread, it is the light that always calls us in all of his work, he seeks to reveal an ultimate truth in all of his writing. Even in the darkest hours, Jesus calls out our name. This is why we need to love each other. Because we aren't the only ones going through this.
