A visiting lecturer at the Institut Catholique d'Etudes Supérieur (ICES, La Roche sur Yon, France), Alex also teaches Creative and Professional Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University, England. Alex, whose pastimes and interests include drama, music, sport and travel, lives near Nantes and
works in a large stone hut at the bottom of his garden.
