The feel-good place to buy books

Richard Lewington is widely regarded as one of the best wildlife illustrators in Europe. He studied graphic design at Berkshire College of Art and has specialized on natural-history illustration since graduating in 1971. Many modern field-guide classics, such as The Butterflies of Britain and Ireland, Field Guide to the Moths of Great Britain and Ireland, Field Guide to the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Great Britain and Ireland, and Field Guide to the Bees of Great Britain and Ireland, feature his painstaking paintings of insects and other wildlife. He's also created and illustrated animal stamps for a number of other countries. He received the Marsh Prize for Lepidoptera Conservation from Butterfly Conservation in 1999, and the Stamford Raffles Award for contribution to zoology from the Zoological Society of London in 2010.
