Natural World: Wolf by Michael Leach

This title, endorsed by the World Wildlife Fund, shows the life cycle of a wolf. Follow a wolf cub as it takes its first steps on its journey through life in the frozen tundra. Join the cub as it joins the wolf pack and learns how to hunt as part of a team. Meet some of the other animals that share the wolf's Arctic habitat, and find out about the threats facing the wolf and what can be done to protect it. This title should be useful for Key Stage 2 science study of life and living processes.
Michael Leach is an author and television cameraman specializing in large mammals. In the past few years he has worked with mountain gorillas in Rwanda, orangutans in Borneo, lemurs in Madagascar and polar bears in the Arctic, and he still bears the scar from the teeth of an unfriendy young brown bear he photographed in 1976. He has filmed natural history programmes for a number of television companies including the BBC.
