Summary

Down at the bottom of the garden, there is a pile of flowerpots. This is St Juniper's, the fairy school with a difference: it is famed for the naughtiness of its pupils. Meet the Naughty Fairies - their spells usually go wrong, but even when they go right it's only to get them out of trouble or get someone else into it !

Naughty Fairies: 10: Potion Commotion by Lucy Mayflower

It's Kelpie's flutterday and as a treat Kelpie wants a day at the 'beach'. So the whole school goes down to the Pond for fantastic food, water sports and outdoor lessons. But halfway through their fun-filled day Dame Fuddle learns that the SPARCLE fairies are on their way to inspect St Juniper's - but no one will be there! Will the whole school be able to pack up their picnics and swimthings and get back to St Juniper's in time to stop the school from being closed?
Fairies with attitude - Cork Evening Echo, July 06
Lucy Mayflower was sadly not born at the bottom of the garden - she grew up in Northern Ireland, England, Gibraltar and America, though not all at the same time. She has been a history student, a tea lady, a press officer, a porcelain dealer, a TEFL teacher, an editor, a singer and the owner of a bright yellow VW van. In her family, she has trouble deciding who is more handsome: her husband or her two sons. She has a cat called Crumble and a pet spider the size of a marble who lives outside her study window. She believes there is magic in the smallest things, provided you look hard enough.
