Today the Navajo celebrate their strengths and proudly maintain their cultural traditions in modern America.Donna Janell Bowman is the author of several children's books, including Step Right Up: How Doc and Jim Key Taught the World about Kindness, which won an award. Vermont College of Fine Arts awarded her an MFA in Writing.
