This is a first novel by the Canadian Country-Punk star Jeremy Clarke, formerly lead singer with the "Barracudas". Written in the wise-cracking style of the 50s trash detective novel, it is a brutal but hilarious satire on the venemous materialism of western society.
Fr. Jeremy Clarke, SJ, is an Australian Province Jesuit teaching as an assistant professor in the History Department of Boston College. He is also a school visitor in the Australian Center for China in the World at the Australian National University, Canberra.
