Neighbourhood Witch by Hooper Mary
Amber and her mum have just moved to a new town. Amber's mum is a witch, and though Amber is too, she desperately wants to be normal. But when Amber's new friend, Georgie, gets into trouble by saying that her brother's friend is Daniel Stanley, the country's top footballer, and that he's agreed to open the school fete, Amber knows she has to help! While Daniel is in town opening a new sports stadium, his car takes off, and whisks him to Amber and Georgie, who beg him to open their school fete. Daniel agrees and all is well!
