This is the story of a boy, Colin, from Ness, between the ages of seven and 19. Colin's knowledge of himself as he spirals towards destruction is unsparing and unsentimental.
Alasdair Campbell has written widely in Gaelic, both prose and drama. He spent his childhood in Ness at the north of Lewis and was educated at the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway and Aberdeen University. He currently lives in Harris.
