Neutral Buoyancy by Tim Ecott
Four days after his mother's funeral, Tim Ecott went scuba diving for the first time. What began as a way of deflecting his grief became a life long obsession. Tales of historical diving bells, Greek Sponge divers, World War Two frogmen and record-setting breath-hold divers are laced with beautifully written travelogue detailing the author's own journey through an undersea world. An elegant blend of arcane history, adventure and vivid reportage, Neutral Buoyancy communicates the author'spassion to the reader, conveying the rich appeal of an exotic, hidden place.
