Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) is most noted for his Sherlock Holmes detective stories. He was a prolific writer whose other works include a wide range of science fiction stories, historical novels, romances, poetry, and nonfiction. Leslie S. Klinger is the multi-award-winning editor and annotator of seven volumes in Liveright’s New Annotated Series as well as the collection The Call of Cthulhu and Other Stories. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
