Dr. Richard Baines is the principal lecturer in Management Systems for Food Safety and the Environment and the director of the Food Chain Research Group in the School of Agriculture, Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, UK. In addition to lecturing, Dr Baines also undertakes contract research and consultancy linked to food supply chains and rural development.
