The Ninetieth Aero Squadron, American Expeditionary Forces - A History of its Activities During the World War, from Its Formation to Its Return to the United States (WWI Centenary Series) by Anon
The 90th Aero Squadron was created in Texas in 1917. It was largely formed from two detachments; one from the Vancouver Barracks, Washington, and one from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. They were an aviation arm of the American Expeditionary Forces and this publication tells of their actions during the First World War. This book is part of the World War One Centenary series; creating, collating and reprinting new and old works of poetry, fiction, autobiography and analysis. The series forms a commemorative tribute to mark the passing of one of the world's bloodiest wars, offering new perspectives on this tragic yet fascinating period of human history. Each publication also includes brand new introductory essays and a timeline to help the reader place the work in its historical context.
The writer has chosen to stay anonymous because the poems reflect a universal journey. The author lays no claim to the thoughts as they are part of the collective unconsciousness that binds living things together. The compilation portrays how poetry can be a person's best friend, philosopher, and guide throughout his/her life.
