Demilade Adeyemi grew up in Nigeria and as a young albino woman. She went to school in England, and has won various awards including a Cambridge University Essay Writing prize. She is currently studying a law and Anthropology degree at the London School of Economics, giving her first-hand knowledge about the issues she writes about.
