Educated at Manchester Grammar School and Durham University, Dominic Carman worked in banking for 6 years, before beginning a publishing career at News International and then Euromoney Publications, based in London and in Hong Kong. He was later recruited as European Head of Operations for IIR, the world's largest conference company. He set up his own business in 2000, publishing a quarterly magazine, London Business Review. He and his wife live in London with their three children.
