Jonathan Emmett studied architecture at Nottingham University and worked as an architect for some time, designing a variety of projects, including an art gallery and a theatre. Now a full-time writer, his books include Bringing Down the Moon. He lives in Nottingham with his wife Rachel and their son Max. Vanessa Cabban obtained a first-class BA honours degree in illustration from Brighton University and an MA from the Royal College of Art. She has illustrated several picture books, including Down in the Woods at Sleepytime and Dear Tooth Fairy. Vanessa lives in Northumberland.
