Gary Younge is a Chicago-based novelist, broadcaster, and award-winning Guardian writer. He is also an Alfred Knobler Fellow at The Nation Institute and writes a monthly piece for The Nation magazine. In 2009, he received the coveted James Cameron Award in the United Kingdom for his moral vision and professional integrity. No Place Like Home: A Black Briton's Trip through the Deep South, his debut book, was a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award.
