Paul Wilson was born in 1960. He is married and has two sons. He is also the author of The Fall from Grace of Harry Angel, Days of Good Hope and Do White Whales Sing at the Edge of the World?, winner of the 1997 Portico Prize for Literature. He lives in Blackburn, Lancashire, where he works in the field of learning disability.
