Alexandre Clérisse is a graduate from the EESI school of visual arts in Angoulême, France, a city where he still lives today. He is the illustrator of several comic books including Jazz Club (2007), Trompe la mort, "Daredevil"(2009) and more recently Souvenir de l'empire de l'atome (2012), which received various awards including Best Science-Fiction Comic Book at the Nantes "Utopiales" festival, the "Imaginaire" award at the "Étonnants Voyageurs" festival in St. Malo and the "Tour d'ivoire" award.
