Numbers by John Sturdy
Like the other Cambridge Bible Commentary volumes, this contains an introduction followed by the texts of the N.E.B. translation divided into sections. Each section of the text is followed by the commentary upon it. Mr Surdy discusses the the content, structure and authorship of the book, pointing to material from two distinct periods: 500400 BC and some 500 years earlier.

Jürgen Moltmann is professor emeritus of systematic theology at the University of Tübingen (Germany). He is the author of over twenty books with Fortress Press, including The Crucified God (1973), Theology of Hope (1993), and The Spirit of Life (2001).
